Thanks Sarah! Captain Nathan R. Thompson

We thank Sarah for sending us this great picture of US Army Captain Nathan Thompson, our very handsome son. We hope all those years of shooter game addiction, archery, paintball, and shooting pay off for him on the range. We're very proud of Nate and Sarah for making the move to Germany. Change is always hard but the military needs good couples like Nate and Sarah.

And I'd like to thank all the little people...

The best part about teaching preschool is having the excuse to buy Fisher-Price Little People toys. I love them. Always have. As a mom, I love how tough and easy to clean they are. As a teacher, I love the way they can be used to teach vocabulary, social, and play skills. They are awesome! Little People are my addiction. They are sooo cute! I'm in love with all of them. I sent this one to Makayle for her birthday. Two days later, I bought one for me. It's one of my classroom toys that we bring out to celebrate birthdays. When our classroom aide, Sandy, had her birthday, we brought the set out and our little class played, sang, and wished her "Happy Birthday" over and over again. My students have speech delays and autism. I love any toy that elicits language!

For Thanksgiving, we read books, learned songs & poems, made crafts and played with these wonderful sets.
Wait til you see the Christmas ones! Hannukah too!
